Exacompta Planners

Exacompta Planners, 2010 Here
Exacompta was founded in Paris in 1928 as a printing and binding works to produce accounting ledgers. At a time when accounting was done by hand, Exacompta manufactured ledgers of exceptional quality. These books were finely bound, with thick paper. The special heritage of Exacompta products are present today in the look and feel of their appointment books and journals. Exacompta employs sewn signatures of paper, which means the paper has greater flexibility and stability, but won't become loose and fall out of the book with use. Like all good paper, Exacompta has a lovely fresh scent, and its paper is crisp, thick and feels good to the fingers.

2010 planners are now shipping, we still have a few 2009 available.

Clairefontaine, the paper manufacturer for both Exacompta and Quo Vadis brands, is currently the only Manufacturer making its own paper for its products. This guarantees not only consistent product quality, but also controls the environmental impact of the production process.

Clairefontaine does not use wood from old growth forests for its paper. The company buys pulp from sustainable forests that are certified according to recognized international standards (PEFC, FSC, etc.). These certifications also ensure that endangered wildlife habitat is protected, worker health and safety laws are kept, and the rights of indigenous communities are respected. The River Meurthe is the source of water supply for our mill. The water is so clean when it leaves our facility, local people can fish, swim and boat downstream within sight of the mill! Clairefontaine has received multiple awards from the French Department of Environment and Water Authorities for its conservation and environmental protection practices.
